That was some break!

I just really have a hard time believing there is anything worth blogging about on an everyday basis, but for my lone reader who gives me grief everytime I see him, I will try.

I got back from the US yesterday, tired but not as tired as usual. Today work started at a fresh 7 am, luckily I only had one single patient to take care of, who also was released a little past lunch. So at about 2 pm I'm wondering what I am going to do for the last hour and a half, and I decide to check out my May work schedule. I happen to notice that today I was scheduled only until 14.18, so it was perfect. I came straight home and crashed for about 2 hours. Steffen woke me up when he got home and I got changed and took off for my running school. It was pretty warm here today and the forest felt nice and cool. My new running shoes felt good, and I wore the right socks and laced them tighter, so I'm thinking that will help avoid more blisters on my heels. Steffen is out riding his bike and I sat down to check email and turned on the tube. There was Spin City, the last two episodes. And now I'm crying like a little baby. What a freaking heartbreaking finale. What is my deal? Last night I cried at the end of Grey's Anatomy when Meredith goes to see the patient/prisoner executed. Sheesh. I gotta get rid of my tv.

Only two more day shifts and then it's weekend! I think I hear Steffen on the stairs!
